COMMUNITIES AND LOCAL GRANTS

Local events can be a good opportunity to promote use of the local station, the activities of rail user groups or just to encourage more people to use their rail service.
A grant was awarded to Yetminster Fair Association to help promote both the fair itself as a destination on the rail line, but also to promote more use of Yetminster Station by local people.

The Community Rail Working Party also participated in the Yeovil Country Park Fair this year.
