It you'd like to know more about the Heart of Wessex Line and the Community Rail Partnership that supports it, we'll be at the Yeovil Country Park Fair on Bank Holiday Monday 30th May, and at Yetminster Fair on Saturday 9th July.

Extra services for Avoncliff and Freshford from this summer! 
Don't forget, Avoncliff is a request stop.

Let the conductor know in plenty of time if you wish to alight there, or give the driver a clear hand signal if you wish to board.


The extra Monday to Friday services are
1) Southbound to Southampton via all stations to Westbury. Stops at Freshford 11.07, Avoncliff 11.09.
2) Southbound to Brighton, via all stations to Westbury. Stops at Freshford 13.06, Avoncliff 13.08
3) Northbound Weymouth to Bristol service. Stops at Avoncliff 12.56, Freshford 12.58

The next edition of the Bristol to Weymouth Line Guide is currently being finalised, and should be available in the usual information points by early June.  It contains brief details about each of the locations on the line and a timetable in a large, fold out format - great for putting up on the kitchen pin-board!

Upgrades for Class 150 trains
Wessex Trains have completely refurbished their fleet of "class 150"trains inside and out during the last two years. Look out for the colourful carriages showing attractions from all around the Wessex region. Amongst the designs is one showing the spectacular World Heritage Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
