Train: at 08.42 from Bristol Temple Meads arriving at Chetnole 10.22 (NB this is a request stop, so please inform the conductor in plenty of time that you wish to alight there), or No 212 bus at 09.10 from Stop C1 Trinity Street, Dorchester via Maiden Newton (09.33): Chetnole 10.05 - ask to stop at station.
Linear walk in Hardy country, visiting Melbury Osmond and Evershot to Maiden Newton
Length: 10 miles
Return trains from Maiden Newton at 18.30 to Weymouth (or bus 17.08 to Dorchester) and 17.38 to Bristol Temple Meads
